It was another sunny day in Chelsea for Safiye and Tim’s wedding, so they decided to mingle with their guests outside in the fresh air, ahead of their Brydon Room ceremony at Chelsea Register Office. The waiting room inside the register office was absolutely cooking! Thankfully there is airconditioning in the Chelsea cermeony rooms. The Brydon Room is my favourite at Chelsea Register Office due to the warm yellow atmosphere of the room. That said, weddings at Chelsea Register Office are always a pleasure, as the registrars here really know how to make the occasion special for each couple, despite how busy they are.
Safiye and Tim are of Turkish and German descent, so I got to use a little bit of my German language skills to chat to the guests (not much hope for my Turkish, though, I’m afraid). Bride Safiye looked absolutely stunning in her pink lace Valentino wedding dress, and perfectly matching Jane Taylor hat. It was a sunny day, but also a super breezy one, and during our formal photographs on the register office steps after the ceremony, we had to be really careful that the ladies’ hats and fascinators didn’t go flying off in the wind! The wind certainly played havoc with everyone’s hair. Well, everyone except for our lovey bride who’s hair was nicely tucked into her Jane Talyor hat.
