Children’s Photography in Kensington | Alexander

Happy New Year to all my clients! The run up to Christmas was so very busy, I hardly got a chance to blog, so I’ll be spending the next couple of weeks catching up. There are lots of weddings coming up, but first it’s time for some Children’s Photography in Kensington.

Alexander’s Dad very generously bid for my photography at auction at a charity event in support of brain tumour research quite a while ago, and it’s taken us a while to get this date in the diary. So I was really glad to finally meet young Alexander.

We started with some family time, and then 2.5 year old Alexander decided that he didn’t really fancy this photography lark anymore (or any lark for that matter) as 2.5 year olds are sometimes wont to, so we rescheduled and had another go with a happier young lad a week later. In the meantime, I got a couple of nice portraits of mum and dad though.

We didn’t get a chance to go outside on the second visit, sadly, as for some reason the key to the communal gardens wasn’t working, so we shot everything in the living room, which thankfully had fabulous window light, and even a little bit of sunshine, flooding the room. Alexander is looking forward to a new sibling in the Spring, so I look forward to going back for some more children’s photography in Kensington.
