When you’re getting married late on a winter’s day, there just isn’t going to be any light after your ceremony for natural outdoor portraits. So two grooms Gerry and Oscar chose to have portraits beforehand around the streets of Chelsea – what a great decision!
We walked within a few blocks of Chelsea Register Office on the Kings Road, where their ceremony was taking place, including Chelsea Manor Street and traditional red phone boxes – a sure sign you’re in the UK. I love the gorgeous architectural features and how they provide such a stylish background for wedding portraits.
By the time we were finished, all the guests – a super international bunch – were ready for the ceremony taking place in the Brydon Room. It was a joyous ceremony and I was delighted to be a part of it.
We took some group photos on the famous Kings Road steps including confetti before making our way to the luxurious Goring Hotel for Gerry and Oscar’s wedding reception. The two grooms changed into a super stylish set of velvet tuxedos for the evening meal, with the most fabulous men’s shoes I’ve seen in some time! Louboutin, of course!
Many congratulations to Oscar and Gerry, and best wishes for a long and happy life together.
