As I sit here editing last week’s family photoshoot in Battersea Park with this absolutely gorgeous family, it occurs to me, that I haven’t even shared my LAST family photoshoot in Battersea Park with these adorable girls yet. In fact, I’ve hardly blogged any children’s photography in recent months. Some of the newborns I still need to share with you are now walking!! So it’s clear I have some catching up to do.
I have been photographing this family since their oldest daughter was a baby, and it’s been wonderful watching them grow. The principle has always been to have a shoot that focuses on the latest addition to the bunch. Then we add the rest of the family. So this time round, the littlest one gets the most photos. But don’t worry, the other two already have dedicated albums of their own. And in our latest session (no new additions this time!) they all get equal shakes.
But this was Elena’s day.. We had glorious sunshine on this mild late summer’s day in Battersea Park, and some leaves had already started to drop. This gave our session a lovely autumnal feel. But it was still warm enough for the Battersea Park fountains to be in operation, which always make for a fabulous backdrop. Enjoy!
