I’ve been desperate to share this fun-filled Mayfair wedding and Eight Club Wedding Reception with you, as it really was just the most perfect day. It was Spring, the sun as bright in the sky as it could be, the groom’s blue suit matched the bright blue sky, and the bride wore black! How cool is all that?
Bride Nina and groom Martin are a fun, lively couple, who love to laugh and joke around and don’t take life too seriously. This was reflected among their friends and family too, and everyone was a complete joy to work with. After his arrival at Mayfair Library Register Office, the groom quickly disappeared inside to make sure he didn’t catch a glimpse of his gorgeous bride before the ceremony.
Bride Nina arrived with her dad in good time, so we had a chance to take advantage of the lovely light to take some gorgeous bridal portraits and also get some lovely shots of the bride with her dad.
The ceremony itself went off without a hitch (boom, tish!), and the sun was still going strong for our wedding portraits in the immediate neighbourhood of Mayfair Library. Nina and Martin wanted to keep everything really relaxed and so we did absolutely no group formals after the ceremony and concentrated on guests mingling and enjoying themselves instead.
And as luck what have it, another couple, getting married at a different venue, had booked a super-fabulous canary yellow Mustang as their wedding car. So of course we quickly had to sneak a shot in with the car, before the other couple finished their own ceremony and wanted their car back!
From Mayfair Library, we then jumped in cab and headed over to the super cool Eight Club in the City of London, to rejoin their guests at their wedding reception. I stayed with the couple whilst they mingled with their guests, and once they sat down to eat their wedding breakfast, I left them to enjoy the rest of the day. Once again, many congratulations to this super gorgeous and happy couple!
