Hindu Wedding Portraits

So here’s the second of my posts on Louise and Kannan’s Anglo-Asian Hindu Wedding Celebration at the Oshwal Centre in Hertfordshire. Well strictly speaking it’s Irish-Asian rather than Anglo, given that Louise and her family come from Ireland, the location of their third and final wedding ceremony later in the month.

By the time we finished the ceremonial part of the wedding, they were both pretty tired and hungry. Both of them had had a super early start that morning. So we only spent a short time on wedding portraits in order for them to get some late lunch to stop them from fainting!

That said, I thought that they both looked so gorgeous in their colourful saris, that there was no way we weren’t going to do any portraits at all! We used the beautiful and intricate decoration and architecture of the Hindu Temple as the backdrop for our session. The soft pink colour of the stone matching beautifully with the bride’s red and gold sari.
