The bride was walked down the aisle by her two sons, and the wedding vows were witnessed by the couple’s 4 children, most immediate family and closest friends.
The best man seamed to be having a bit of a hard time letting go of the groom for him to be betrothed to the bride :-), but as always, the lovely Westminster Registrars made sure the ceremony went smoothly. Our groom was hit with a slight bout of nerves at the start of the ceremony, but once the vows were said, all the pressure was off and he relaxed into the celebrations.
We had beautiful light for our wedding portraits in the park after the ceremony, before everyone headed off to the lovely new St. Ermin’s Hotel. The sun was still shining bright, but Matt and Cat decided that since they had purchased a wedding umbrella especially for the poor forecast, they might as well use it in the portraits too. And why not? It was a lovely brolly, and I love a little snuggle under a frilly umbrella.
So here’s what we got on the day! The bride and groom looked absolutely gorgeous and it was a great day all round. Many congratulations to Matt and Cat!
