This is the first of two recent shoots where I had the wonderful opportunity of revisiting former wedding clients to photograph their growing families.
I last saw Dayo and Nompilo just over 18 months ago to photograph their then new baby boy Akin. So it was a real pleasure to return last week to celebrate the arrival of their second baby boy, Zachary. Zachary took his own sweet time getting here, arriving a week late, but he was well worth the wait. He’s just gorgeous and he couldn’t have been a better little boy for his first photo session – no tears, no grumpies, just a calm little baby boy.
His big brother Akin has obviously grown tremendously since I last saw him. He’s very excited about his little baby brother – so excited in fact, we had a bit of a challenge slowing him down to come and sit with the family. He’s not just walking, he’s sprinting around the house.
