I couldn’t ask for a lovelier and more joyous aspect of my work than being a Professional Newborn Baby Photography. Once again, I am also grateful and privileged to have been invited back by a couple whose wedding I photographed a few years ago. Tom and Jane were married at Kew Gardens back in 2010 and I’m thrilled to see them again and to meet their gorgeous little angel, newborn baby Verity.
Verity is exactly 1 week old at the time of this shoot. Like all newborns she’s got that amazing newborn baby smell, and we’re lucky to have caught her skin whilst it’s super soft and not at all blotchy or dry. Verity has lots of dark hair too, which I’m guessing she gets from her mum’s side of the family. She was such a good baby – apart from one little feed, she was awake and happy throughout the shoot. She only had a little grumble once, when it was time for lunch, other than that she didn’t make a peep whilst being moved around from mum to dad, placed in different positions, clothes on, clothes off, clothes on again – she just took it all in her stride.
So many many congratulations to new parents Tom and Jane, and a big welcome to our world to gorgeous Verity Jean.
