Rainy Day Wedding at Chelsea Register Office | Emma and Russell

A bride and groom carrying a blue umbrella look up at the sky as it rains on their wedding day. But they are not letting the wether spoil their fun or detract from the joy of their Chelsea Register Office wedding.
It really is the luck of the draw with the weather at the moment, and today’s rainy day wedding at Chelsea Register Office is no exception. Anyone would think it’s April and not January the way the weather kept changing.

Today’s couple, Emma and Russell arrived together during a temporary break in the deluge, along with their most immediate family. Their ceremony took place in the Rossetti Room. Emma had the prettiest bouquet of white roses and white anenomes. I just love anenomes in wedding bouquets (even if I struggle to say the name outloud!). And I absolutely adored Emma’s cream lace dress from the House of Mooshki, by the designer Olivia Wright. It was so elegant and classy and fit perfectly! Definitely an early favourite for the best dress of 2014 award.
