Vintage style wedding at Chelsea Register Office

A sensual black and white wedding portrait in Chelsea with the bride smiling sexily at the camera whilst the groom kisses her on the cheek.

You don’t need pointless accessories such as antique suitcases or old school typewriters littered about your wedding (as the wedding blogs would have you believe) to give your wedding a vintage feel. All you need is a gorgeous couple with oodles of style, a gorgeous 50s style wedding dress, smashing hairdo and a groom in a cravatte and you’re there.

At least this was the case for Sara and Rodney who chose Chelsea Register Office as the venue for their wedding, surrounded by their immediate family only.

It was raining quite heavily when we came out of the ceremony, so everyone huddled under the Chelsea Register Office door arch to try and stay dry. But as quickly as the rain came, it disappeared again, and so Rodney and Sara never got to use the white umbrella they had especially sourced just in case. I do tend to find that often, once you’ve gone to the trouble of getting a wedding umbrella, the rain stays away. So I recommend coming prepared!

The couple looked super stylish, and I loved shooting the portraits with them. especially with the park in full bloom.

Many congratulations to Sara and Rodney and best wishes for long and happy life together. And thank you too, for the lovely Thank You card. It’s so rare for people to hand write cards these days it makes it all the more special.
