Time for a change of scene, and we’re off to celebrate Clarabella and Jason’s Chinese Wedding at Islington Town Hall, along with their closest family and friends. I love Islington Town Hall as a wedding venue. It’s such a beautiful building, with ceremonies taking place in the historical circular council chamber, with it’s wood panels and beautiful red leather seats.
There are also lots of different options for wedding portraits and formal group photographs both inside and outside, which was handy because the weather could not make up its mind whether it wanted to rain, push us around with stormy gusts of wind, or warm us up with a bit of sunshine. That’s November for you. And given that the bride and groom had chosen to have lots of group photographs with all their different guests, we changed locations a few times to account for the changing weather.
By the time we were ready to shoot the bride and groom’s portraits, the sun had put his hat on, hip hip hip horay! It wasn’t until the very end of the portraits that I realised that the lovely Clarabella was 6 months pregnant, so double cause for celebration! Best wishes the the happy couple, both on their wedding, and on their soon to arrive new family member!
