MAYFAIR LIBRARY WEDDINGS
bright civil wedding venue in the heart of mayfair
While the Old Marylebone Town Hall was being refurbished (for nearly 4 years) Westminster Council Register Office weddings were mostly taking place at the Mayfair Library. Now that the Town Hall is back in action, fewer ceremonies are taking place here, but the venue is still available for bookings, and a great choice it is too!
Especially during peak summer dates, when The Old Marylebone Town Hall gets super busy, this venue provides a calmer and more relaxed setting for your ceremony.
The building is still a public library, with only the upstairs rooms being used for ceremonies. Both the Mayfair Library rooms, The Mayfair Room and The Marylebone Room, have pale blue walls and there is plenty of window light to allow for great ceremony photographs.
Right next door there is a lovely park which is the perfect place for your family groups and wedding portraits. Not only that, but there are plenty of “London-centric” backdrops for portraits in the surrounding streets.

WEDDING PORTRAITS AND FAMILY GROUP PHOTOS
The super central location of Mayfair Library means that you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to your family group photos and bride and groom or couples wedding portraits.
Not only do you have the lovely Mount Street Gardens right next door, but there is also the fabulous architecture of the surrounding streets.
Farm Street Church’s gorgeous, warm sandstone makes a wonderful backdrop for portraits, even if you did not choose a church for your wedding. And the local shops give your photographs a truly contemporary London feel.
I’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
There is a lot of information on these pages, but the easiest way to find out why I am the best person to photograph your wedding is by getting in touch with me and having a chat.
