Wedding Photography at Fulham Palace | Paul & Jennifer

Last Saturday I got to provide the wedding photography at Fulham Palace in West London, one of my favourite wedding venues, and one of my favourite Churches, All Saint’s Church on Putney Bridge. Both venues have lovely light, and Fulham Palace has a lovely, bright interior. Photographers love light, and I am no exception!

Well this was Paul and Jennifer’s special day, and Jen got ready at their home in Fulham, almost walking distance from the church:

The pre-booked London Taxi didn’t show up, so Dad Rodney hailed a cab in the street to rush them along to the church…

… where Paul was waiting to marry his lovely bride.

Once we got to Fulham Palace we headed off into the gardens for our portraits where I noticed that the tip of All Saint’s could be seen in the background – what a great opportunity to incorporate the two!

Inside the Palace we had some lovely soft light come through the window and Paul and Jen took a couple of minutes out to practice their first dance (ok, I might’ve prompted them a little 🙂 )

After the meal it was time for the speeches, and the Best Man’s speech had the desired effect on the groom.

Then it was time for the first dance,

after which live band The All Stars Band got all generations bopping on the dancefloor.

For the evening snack, the most sumptuous cheese platter was being prepared in the Bishop Tarrick’s Drawing room… what a shame I had to leave before getting the chance of a little nibble!

Paul and Jen are now on the honeymoon in Italy and I hope they have a fantastic time! Congratulations, guys!
