It’s rare that I get German clients here in London, so it was lovely that this Asia House Wedding was the first of two weddings in the same weekend to feature my fellow country people. Elvira and Axel have lived and traveled all over the world. But came together here in London, surrounded by their grown children and immediate families, to celebrate their wedding.
We couldn’t have asked for a more gloriously sunny day. And not only that, but our ceremony took place in the brightest of rooms in Asia House. It’s such a lovely venue with high windows and stunning ceiling decoration, photographing weddings here is a delight.
As with all register office weddings, the ceremony was very brief, even more so as there were no readings. So we took advantage of the time we had left to capture a family group shot before spending plenty of time on our bride and groom wedding portraits. They are such an attractive couple and Elvira looked amazing in her short, golden, beaded strappy dress. The couple wanted to incorporate the look and feel of old Mayfair in their photographs, so that’s what we did. I hope you enjoy this set of images as much as I enjoyed creating them.
