Kevin and Jessica chose to have a London Landmarks Photoshoot ahead of their big Beijing wedding in September, to commemorate their time in London. They met here in London whilst at Univerity together.
The problem with shooting in and around the major London Landmarks such as Tower Bridge, The London Eye, and The Houses of Parliament, is that much of it is on what is technically private property, which makes it difficult to capture photographs there without private security overstepping their power boundaries and being on your case – this was especially noticeable in the pre-London 2012 Olympics week, with security all around London at its peak. Still we, managed to get a few shots before being chased away.
Of course, London was also full of visitors, and it took a little time for Kevin and Jessica to get used to be being themselves whilst being photographed infront of complete strangers. This often takes a little bit of time for people to get used to, so it’s no surprise that we go the most relaxed photographs towards the end of the shoot, when we had travelled across London on the tube to Holland Park.
In the meantime, though, we had some fun along the Southbank and the northside of The Embankment, around Westminster, and we even got the chance for Kevin and Jessica to have a go on the Merry-Go-Round! Jess looked gorgeous in her cream Coast gown at the start of the shoot, but she really came alive when she changed into her lovely red sundress and quite literally let her hair down!
Here’s a small selection of what we got during our 4 hour shoot.
