The blog is a little behind due to some technical issues, but I’m finally ready to start playing catch-up, and first up are the adorable Dan and Jenny, who hired my to photograph their summer elopement at Mayfair Library. The couple tied the knot witnessed but just their two closest friends and this super sunny July day.
I loved working with this incredibly intimate event as the bride and groom were just so full of beans the entire time. They couldn’t stop from smiling, expect for the moment when Jenny burst into tears of joy as the couple exchanged their wedding rings. It’s certainly not the first time that I have photographed an elopement at Mayfair Library, but I don’t remember the last time there was so much laughter on the day.
After the ceremony we had a little wander around the local area for some portraits of the bride and groom together. It was like working with two giddy teenagers, which was just lovely! I wish for them both that this happiness stays with them for the rest of their lives together.
