Time for some more wedding photography in Chelsea. And as I was walking from the tube station at Sloane Square on this lovely summer’s day, along the King’s Road and toward Chelsea Register Office, I passed a bride and groom heading in the opposite direction.
The bride looked amazing! Her dress was fabulous, her long blonde hair was arranged in a super sexy loose plait and I was thinking to myself – I wonder what my bride and groom today will be like? Well, it turns out, it was them! They were super early for their Chelsea wedding and so decided to go for a quick drink beforehand. And why not?! Chelsea Register Office can be pretty busy on a Saturday. And the waiting room can get pretty toasty. So having a cheeky glass of bubbles beforehand, sounds like a great idea to me!
When they came back, complete with cream stretch limousine, all their guests were lined up ready and waiting for them at the entrance to the register office.
The wedding ceremony took place in the largest of the Chelsea Register Office rooms, the Brydon Room, even though they only had a relatively intimate wedding party. This is my favourite room here at Chelsea Old Town Hall, as I love the warmth of the golden walls and the antique-y decor.
After the ceremony, we headed back out onto the King’s Road. First of all, to have our traditional confetti throw on the Chelsea Old Town Hall steps. And then to capture some gorgeous and relaxed portraits of this sexy couple together. They certainly made my wedding photography job easy, as you can see below! They were a pleasure to photograph. Many congratulations to these adorable newlyweds!
