Professional Family Portrait Photography in Wimbledon

Between the weather, minor domestic accidents and work commitments, we had to reschedule this professional family portrait photography session several times. So I was delighted to finally meet this family on a lovely sunny day in Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon.

I love Cannizaro Park. It’s a great location for professional family portrait photography as there is such a wide variety of locations there to play with. And because of the huge variety of plant life, the colour landscape changes all the time. That said, this time of year most foliage is pre-dominantly green, rather than the mixed shades you get in the autumn, but on the plus side, staying in the “tree” part of the park gave young Patrick the opportunity to climb his first ever tree! He looked really confident up there. His little sister Maeve DID want to follow him, but at 20 months she wasn’t quite ready.

In fact, apart from the times when she was chasing after every and any doggy we met, or the time she spent playing with Patrick, she clung pretty tightly to mum – mostly, I reckon, because this meant getting a nice easy ride being carried around rather than having to do all that walking! Clever girl!
